Otherwise Society asks what we could build together, if unlimited by the constraints of the current human paradigm. What if we relearned how to coordinate like a village, and what if that village interrelated with other villages? As a Private Membership Association, decisions are made collectively, through an emergent process.

The first phase of this inquiry is Otherwise Society Commons, an alcohol free gathering space and Third Place in Poulsbo, WA, ancestral territory of the suq̀ʷabš “People of Clear Salt Water” (Suquamish People). We collectively curate events, coworking sessions, dance and music, films, workshops and other community events. Through collectively curating engaging and diverse programming we can learn how to steward a commons together.
